To this very day, I have played the entire full campaign of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on both Xbox 360 and the Wii. The game is one of most enjoyed games to date, so I was thrilled to be able to play it again on the Xbox 3603, after my Wii died. I have played all the Harry Potter games other than Sorcerer's Stone, and Quidditch World Cup which I own but it doesn't work on the Xbox 360. I have more than enough knowledge to review this, and let me just say this game is just as amazing as it was on the Wii, a finely crafted masterpiece that truly lets you experience the daily life of Harry Potter at Hogwarts School, of witchcraft and wizardry.

The game ponders very lightly on the story, which is great since the players would most likely know the story by heart, but EA's storytelling of the sixth installment is a welcome one, that may have some inaccurate portions and added on scenes, it fits the game perfectly, and never affects the game in a bad way. Like most of the Potter games, this game is focused on gameplay. There are many things you can do in the environment. You can brew potions, duel to become the best of the best, practice and play in exciting matches of Quidditch, collect Hogwarts Crests that unlock bonuses, and just roam around the stunning environment, since not much of the castle is explored in the main campaign. This all adds up to be around ten to twelve content, since the Hogwarts Crest takes some serious patience and precision to complete, and that is also alongside the excellent main campaign, that acts as a sampler of all the worthwhile things you can do in the game. The game itself is some of the best we've seen in the series, the voice acting is solid, but a few characters could be better, and the colors are bright and vibrant. The only problem with the presentation is during a scene towards the climax of the game, Dumbledore, doesn't seem to be moving his mouth when he has dialogue. He moves his mouth in all the other scenes with him having dialogue, but here it lacks polish.
Another thing that I wish they could patch up would be to add more difficulty levels rather than a simple standard easy mode, that didn't have me die or restart a level a single time within my entire play through. Also these difficulty levels could add even more content to have which I feel a twinge could have been more extended. Overall, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is an amazing game with an excellent main campaign stringing together all of the gameplay types and mechanics alongside a generous portion of collectibles and things to do after the credits roll. I award this game an amazing 9.7 out of 10. The game now currently has a nomination finalist in the award, Best Game.
