Here is the long-awaited review for The Black Island. The Black Island improves upon what Cigars of the Pharaoh accomplished with a more developed plot and stronger and more intimidating villains.

The Black Island probably has the strongest start of all in the series. It immediately jumps you into the action and already makes you engrossed into the plot. Similar to my other reviews, there will be no spoilers. But, do know that the plot is a little more dark and has a hint of a little bit too much fatigue, when Tintin narrowly escapes death. The art is gorgeous as always and as a collective whole The Black Island provides for a great experience that brings a detective and crime story with a Saturday cartoon-esque. Score: 8.5 out of 10.
