Today, I was able for the first time in my life to see a film in China. Yes, I experienced a movie on the Chinese screen. If you wanted to know the film was Finding Dory, and I will be posting a review. But first here are my impressions of the service, the experience, and how it compares to American theaters. The first things I noticed was the lack of concessions, at the theater I went to, which was a large, seven floor mall, right in Beijing, so it could be considered a high quality theater, but concessions were not apparent. This was probably the only downgrade, but there are many improvements to counter this. First the way to ensure that people know about theater safety protocols, was done in a much more fun and more memorable way which was more effective. Also seats feel better than your average theater seats, and it overall is a strong and superior way to watch movies rather than enjoying a film in your local average theater.
