Batman V Superman Buying Guide

Unquestionably, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has a massive home video release under its belt, all due to the brand new extended cut or "Ultimate Edition." There are many ways to purchase the movie, and we are cover what's best to feed your DC hunger in this buying guide.

First there are the standard editions which just come with the movie and no extra bonuses. For a standard pick up of Batman V Superman, this is the best option, you can choose the standard DVD edition which DOES NOT include the extended cut, the standard Blu-Ray Combo Pack which includes both the Theatrical and Extended cut on Blu-Ray and just the theatrical cut on DVD, as well as Ultraviolet Digital Copies of both cuts. Then there is the Blu-Ray 3-D combo pack which includes everything with the Blu-Ray combo pack, except for the different cover art and an additional disc of the theatrical edition of the 3D version. Strangely the set does not include the extended cut in 3D, the final standard version is the 4K Ultra-Hd, which includes a 4K disc of the extended cut a standard Blu-Ray disc of the theatrical edition and the digital copies of both cuts.

For those who seek the store exclusives of Batman V Superman, there are than plenty of editions. First and foremost, is Amazon's exclusive collector's edition. The collector's edition comes with your choice either a Batman or Superman figurine, and the standard Blu-Ray combo pack all at the price of 117 dollars. Next is Target's 60 page Digibook, which has exclusive production images of props and filming, it also comes with the standard Blu-Ray combo pack. Best Buy once again has their steelbooks, and you can either choose the Batman theatrical poster steelbook, or the Superman theatrical poster steelbook, there is also an edition where the standard blu-ray combo pack is packaged with the comic, Batman V Superman: The Greatest Battles. Walmart also has their own exclusive with an exclusive rendition of the DVD, strangely Walmart does not list any exclusives for the Blu-Ray.
