The one that started all, the game that redefined the adventure genre forever, in 2007, is now back, yes I have officially played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Some of you will be wondering, "What? He's already finished the game?! He hasn't even uploaded 3/4 of the game on Youtube." In case you couldn't tell, I am behind very behind in uploading the walkthrough, since I have to render all my videos in ShareFactory to have the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Theme, but if you guys want to see it being uploaded quicker let me know. But to the topic at hand, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a cinematic, thrilling, and fun gaming masterpiece.

The first thing worth noting is how beautiful the game is, from the first chapter, my jaw was dropped in how stunning the environments and character models were. Bluepoint should be applauded for making such a pretty game, and it looks better than some PS4 games you can find today. However the technological flaws are apparent here, rarely Nathan will go stiff as a statue in the middle of fire fights, and the cover system will send you right into fire.

As the game really just boils down to an adventure, there are two main components that really stand out, gun combat and platforming sections. Both of these have some really enjoyable moments, but also some poorly executed ones. Shooting feels repetitive after ten chapters, and climbing has some moments where the AI will just fall and die due to imprecise movements. The story itself is also excellent and some of the best video game stories I have ever experienced, overall Drake's Fortune has flaws that set it back, but the flaws are betrayed by and intriguing story, beautiful designs, great gameplay, and a true sense of adventure.
