To this day, I have used both of the main current generation consoles to great extent, the Xbox One and PS4. So which one is the best? First and foremost, let's discuss which system has better games, since no console is complete without games, and each console has their own quality exclusives. Xbox One, has Gears of War and Halo under their belt, while Sony has Uncharted, God of War, The Last of Us, and the upcoming Spiderman game, so its clear that PS4 wins this round.

Round 2: Price
Which console is the most affordable for a family? At launch, the Xbox One was more expensive then the PS4 by 100 dollars, but that was since Kinect was bundled in, the current Xbox One's today has no Kinect and average around 300 dollars. PS4 on the other hand has had a 50 dollars drop from launch, making it a 350 console, it doesn't take a calculator do to the math, the Xbox One is more affordable.

Round 3: Size, Controller, and Ease of Use
Every console should be easy to use, and both consoles show this to great extent, but the PS4 is the smallest of the two, and seems the easiest to use. But the best controller is where things get tricky, the PS4 controller has many features that surpass the Xbox One controller, but the triggers feel too far out, while the Xbox One is nice and compact, but despite this small victory for the Xbox One, PS4 takes it home with Round 3, meaning the PS4 is the best console between the two.
