Today at Barnes and Noble, I got my hands on the second volume of year 1 of the Injustice comic series and...wow! I loved the first volume, it is quite simply one of my favorite comics of all time, this one is just as amazing in so many categories but it falls short of the first volume to unsettling flashbacks that feel out of place.

Injustice Volume 2 has a thrilling plot that is carried over from the first volume, this volume focuses rather on the growing hatred between Batman and Superman, and comes to an epic showdown at the end of the comic, in some ways you feel pity for everyone, even Superman, who feels more than just a villain. But unfortunately the story doesn't linger at all on Damian murdering Nightwing in the first volume, other than a very brief and minor reference. But sometimes the plot jumps into flashbacks far too quickly to the point where you can't tell if it is a flashback or the present.

Score: 8.9 out of 10 Great
