Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is something unique and special, something the gaming world has never seen, the DC world clashing amongst themselves, in this amazing fighting game from NetherRealm, the creators of Mortal Kombat.

The great thing about Injustice, is the story mode campaign. With twelve chapters and 49 fights, where you get to play as some of the most iconic DC heroes and villains: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, the Joker, Aquaman, Cyborg and countless others. This campaign takes roughly 6 hours to beat, a little short for my taste. But the story in the campaign, makes up for the length. It is quite simply one of the best DC stories out there, and is also one of the best video game stories ever written. It's so good, it got its own excellent prequel comic series, that still continues to this very day. With year 4 wrapping up, and year 5 making its way to the spotlight.
The gameplay of Injustice is extremely fun, with the Ultimate Edition including 60fps, the fighting is fluid, and more fun. Unfortunately, the fighting at times feels as if there is too much moves and additions, that it gets hard to remember what is the special move, or how to do that sky grapple move with Batman? To make up for this, there is a move list in the pause menu, but the moves themselves are rather complex and require a lot analog stick movements and button mashing. There is also a ton of replay value, including a multiplayer mode, Star Labs missions, and battles, where you take on a slew of villains or heroes. And on top of that there are 6 new characters, and 30 new skins with the Ultimate Edition. Overall, Injustice is an amazing game, that is quite simply a masterpiece. Score: 9.6 out of 10.
