4 days until the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts 1 and 2 Special Rehearsal Edition Script! Now we count down the final days with the review of the sixth book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a somber, emotional, riveting, and magical book that captivates the reader with every turn of the page.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince sinks you into a dark version of the wizarding world you know and love right off the bat. You can tell the world lives in fear, a fear that is riveting everyone, may it be Muggle or wizard. The plot is amazing too, and like Order of the Phoenix, runs on pure emotion. It certainly has a flair of magic into it, but it really recognizes the world in fear. Each Harry Potter books had a great depiction of what the world was like in that year, and here it's a world bound together and that breathes fear. Even though I wish there was more action, instead of the great focus on the romance between characters. The humor, magic, and overall tone, make for what is quite simply an amazing book that sinks the reader into a world that breathes fear. It is an excellent set up for the Deathly Hallows, and while has not been given too much attention over the years, and is widely considered the weakest Potter story, it is an amazing book still. Score: 9.7 out of 10.
