Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: What's Next?

3 days until the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Special Rehearsal Edition Script! So as we count down the cold seconds, let's speculate on what comes next for Harry Potter? Of course we know the play is getting rave reviews and will be a massive success, the play is sold out until May 2017! And also we have the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film trilogy, which is written by J.K. Rowling and is a spin-off of Harry Potter, which debuts this November in theaters. But what comes after all of that?

My first theory is that there will be some sort of sequel to the Cursed Child, it is already a success, with a fat bag of Galleons worth of five star reviews. Perhaps it will evolve into another seven part series, that will have the play for each story, and a script for us, then after all of that the film adaptations. This seems mildly likely since, it would be introducing the franchise to a whole new generation of fans.

The second theory is that, there will be no sequel to the Cursed Child, and all we will have is a Broadway release of the play, and the Fantastic Beasts trilogy, perhaps followed by a Quidditch Through the Ages TV series.
