Tomorrow Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts 1 and 2 Special Rehearsal Edition Script will come out! But as we all know, a definitive collector's edition of the script will come along and replace the Special Rehearsal Edition Script, so let's speculate on when we will see this edition!

First, we have had some official word saying that the edition is set to release in early 2017, this is in the winter-spring range, so if this release date stays true, I'm expecting a March release.

But what if it is delayed? Also according to Pottermore, the edition will contain extra writing, and also there will be the mass prints of the edition, since the Special Rehearsal Edition Script can in some ways be considered an advance reader's copy of the script. So if it is delayed, a new release date of July 31 would be inevitable. Some fans are holding out on the Special Rehearsal Edition Script until this "Definitive Edition" hits stores, since the Special Rehearsal Edition Script is the same script that was used in the previews that took place June 7 all the way until the world premiere of the play which happens today! In fact, Part 1 has just been shown and is getting rave reviews. Also, if you plan to get the Special Rehearsal Edition Script do not hang about! Get it now, since the definitive edition will replace the Special Rehearsal Edition Script and will not be sold in print or digital form! Tonight! We just have a little over than 5 hours until the Barnes and Noble midnight release parties, which the majority of attendees of the event will be attending, like myself!
