Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 1: Realm of Shadows Review

Episode 1 of Batman: The Telltale Series is now out and we are reviewing Episode 1: Realm of Shadows. First you must know this is my first Telltale game I have ever played, so I will not be used to the standard Telltale gameplay. I played the first episode on the PS4, and a walkthrough will be coming soon. Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 1: Realm of Shadows is a strong opening that is gritty, violent, and dark, that truly captures its license title.

First the story here had me on the edge of my seat. It is so intriguing, and is one of the best Batman stories. The action itself is great as well, I wish the combat could have been involving rather than moving analog sticks and pressing buttons. But the detective work, and the choices you make as both Bruce Wayne and Batman are hard and impactful. Score: 9.4 out of 10
