I finally saw it! I SAW IT! Suicide Squad! I wasn't able to see Suicide Squad opening weekend, but I did see it today, and one sentence. This movie was amazing! It was truly amazing! Suicide Squad mixes incredible eye-pleasing action with humor, a great story, memorable performances, that make for an experience where you will "thank squad!"

This is my non-spoiler review, so do keep that in mind. First the performances of the film. Margot Robbie made for a psychotic Harley Quinn, that really stole the show, and made the character more than just "Mr. J! Puddin'!" She's actually human and has character. Deadshot is also very good and is probably the most likable of the squad. So is all the supporting cast, from Captain Boomerang to Amanda Waller. But the million dollar question awaits us? Jared Leto as the Joker was fantastic! At times, I feel his performance felt a bit "slugged," but most of the times, he delivered his lines, and makes for a refreshingly new incarnation as the legendary character. But the best part about the performances were that the characters weren't some people going, "Wha! HA! HA! I am a villain!" They had heart which is something the cast should be applauded for.
The action is top-notch as usual, and makes for amazing action sequences especially later down the road. And the humor is unlike any other DCEU film, there are plenty of jokes to enjoy and laugh at! But there is also real emotion that shows that everyone was human! And the flaws are really only nitpicks! First, I wish Batman got more screen time, so he could actually encounter the squad when their going up against the villain, which would make for a nice story arc! The actual villains are intimidating, as well! Score: 9.2 out of 10 Go out an see Suicide Squad!
