Injustice Year 5 The Death of (SPOILER)

Injustice: Gods Among Us Year 5 is wrapping up with the digital first comics and there is a major scene or spoiler that I have to talk about. If you do not want it to be spoiled for you, do click off the post and read the comics yourself or watch one of the Comicstorian's year 5 videos.

Alfred was killed by Victor Zsasz. It is discovered by Damian Wayne when he is delivering Alfred's birthday present. Damian takes it brutally and hard and makes an obsession alongside Bruce to hunt down Victor Zsasz. This is such a pivotal and integral scene that I am shocked that it wasn't referenced in the actual game. It is shocking and quite devastating. Out of all the members in the Bat-family, Alfred is the one character that I feel is least deserving to die. However the way it is handled, it makes for a moment that shapes Batman's growing hatred of Superman and Superman's pity and hatred of Batman. It also makes the entire Justice League pause and pity Bruce, who in their opinion is a criminal. So that is my opinion and impression of the Injustice Year 5 BIG death. The Injustice comic series looks to be the series that changes everything with its pivotal deaths and moments. Joker is dead, Green Arrow is dead, Gordon is dead, Huntress is dead, Nightwing is dead, and now ALFRED is dead?!
