Riordan Imprint Announcement

Disney Hyperion announces a new Rick Riordan imprint which will bring authors together to create mythology based books for middle grade kids.

Basically what this means is that new authors will create mythology based middle grade books under the Riordan name to appeal to Riordan's extensive fan base. Riordan's editor, Stephanie Lurie, says that they hope to launch two books in the summer of 2018 under the Riordan imprint. In a way, I kind of see this like a 39 Clues type of imprint, where multiple authors share in this one universe. My personal thoughts will be coming in a separate post!
