Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 2 Review

Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 2: Children of Arkham brings together everything the first episode did right and goes far beyond for an experience that makes for some of the best I have had in gaming.

First, let's discuss the flaws first so we can fully delve into the positives of this episode. First, the frame rate is choppy. It seems at times as if the game can't stand up straight with the rather pathetic frame rate it's going at. Also there are multiple pop textures in shades of black and throughout the episode you seem to just jump from location to location with the obnoxiously long loading screens.

Here is why this episode is AMAZING! The story this time around, is far more cinematic and thrilling. I couldn't stop playing thanks to the excellent story and I am constantly thinking about the amazing plot twists Telltale has up their sleeve. The choices this time around, are far more impactful and truly shape your Batman. In fact, I'm going to replay the episode entirely just because I felt like I made the wrong choice at times.
