The Fever Code Pre-Order Rant

The Fever Code is coming out in three days and we are all super excited! But...we have to respond to the mess of pre-orders bonuses for this one book.

This problem really escalated out of control this month. First if you pre-ordered the book at all, you will be getting some sort of special "first edition" of the Fever Code. Which is strange, since many people will go to the bookstore next week and still be able to get this edition. Second, so many bookstores are on random days saying if you pre-order the Fever Code you will get a prize pack. This has resulted in many fans canceling their orders and ordering it again to get this "prize pack" containing sorts of goodies. Then, Puffin goes and asks readers to send their RECEIPTS to them in order to be entered to win a signed movie poster. Also, your name could have been in the Fever Code if you pre-ordered. So basically, what everyone is implying is that YOU have to pre-order every single book that you want to read. You have to pre-order because if you don't you'll get locked out of all of these prize packs just because you don't give Dashner and Delacorte Press their money FIRST!
