Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will open in theaters in 38 days and we cannot wait for that day! As for now, let's analyze the newly released posters in a two part series!

In this first part, we will only be analyzing 4 posters: Newt, Tina, Queenie, and Jacob. First of all, if we take a look at the Newt poster, we can see that he is no ordinary "magizoologist." His case looks similar to Swughorn's potion case that appeared in the Half-Blood Prince. Eddie Redmayne seems to play that role and look it extremely well. Now let's take a look at Tina's poster. The most interesting part is at the top, where we can see that Tina is a MACUSA Auror. This makes sense, considering she is the one who brings Newt in his case to the MACUSA for the trial. Behind here we see a "Magical Exposure Threat Level" measurer. This is cool and amusing, since that measurer will be going off the charts in this film. Third, we have Tina's sister Queenie, who has an occupation as a Legilimens. She can read minds, which is something that is fascinating, but a bit out of place, since I think that ability could be used excessively in the film. If I have one annoyance with the Wizarding World, it is that we cannot read the books that are in that world. Sigh. Moving to Jacob, it just shows him in front of his bakery with the label of a No-Maj or as Newt would put it a Muggle. "Sorry, they call them Muggles." On Thursday, we will analyze the other five posters, since tomorrow's countdown will be the details on how you can win two tickets to the the Carnegie Hall advance screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in New York City with Eddie Redmayne and J.K. Rowling.
