Fantastic Beasts 25 Days: Clip #1 Reaction and Review

In 25 days, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit theaters! A first clip has dropped on the internet thanks to Luis Nunes on Youtube! Here is my reaction and review of the clip titled Interrogatory.

The clip is basically Newt being interrogated Graves who is the head Auror of the MACUSA, with Tina in the background. Graves begins with how Newt was expelled from Hogwarts, for "endangering human life with a beast" as he would put it. Newt then says it was an accident, and Graves continues with this theme and asks what makes Dumbledore so fond of Newt. And that is where the clip ends. There is something noteworthy of this sequence, first Tina (and possibly Newt) is under handcuffs next to most likely a guard. The clip takes place in a cell. But also the woman next to Tina is actually the one who has her wand at Tina's throat in the final trailer. Tina has tears in her eyes at that shot. That is interesting because Graves may have sentenced both of them to prison, potentially destroying her career. Or it could have been something just as or even more serious, but either way the interrogation seems to have a huge impact. Can't wait to see the entire film in all of its magic in 25 days!
