Fantastic Beasts 22 Days: Wand Permits Discussion

In approximately 22 days, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit theaters across the world! To coincide with this landmark, we will be discussing wand permits in this new era of magic!

Wand permits were officially confirmed in this era thanks to the Empire moving cover for the film. Now we do not know if this will play a role at all in the film. But it'll be fun to speculate. For example, perhaps when Tina gets dismissed from the Aurors they snap her wand, then later in the film she gets a new wand. In a way, this era treats wands like a weapon. Where you need a permit, which makes sense since the Wizarding community at that time is living in hiding from No-Maj's. So it will make sense that they have strict rules about wands which could potentially expose the community over the entire world. So what do YOU think about wand permits? But remember 22 days!
