Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits all the right notes of the original Harry Potter stories, but yet feels entirely different and unique, and is a story-telling experience that packs magic, fun, humor, and darkness in a way that is truly magical.

This is the non-spoiler review. What makes the film so amazing is the fact that the film has a gripping and dark edge to it. No spoilers, but a certain additional plot line makes for some of the most gripping moments in the film, and the plot is almost like a horror story. The cast deliver a well-rounded spectacle. I personally like Newt more than Harry, since he's charming, likable, caring, and overall a true HUFFLEPUFF! The cast are all great with characters such as Dan Floger's Jacob. The story is truly excellent with plenty of twists and humor. It's rich, complex, and truly mesmerizing. The visual effects are excellent and don't feel out of place what so ever. The beasts themselves are interesting and have a strong sense of being iconic. Overall, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a magical experience that captures the feels of Harry Potter tied together with a rich story containing truly FANTASTIC beasts! Score: 10 out of 10. I can't exactly say if it's my favorite movie of all time yet. I will need to see it twice and read the screenplay at least three times. But I can say it rests safely on the throne as at least my second favorite film of not only Harry Potter but of all time!
