Following a month after the release of Doctor Strange, the release of the final comic book film of this year, it's time to rank all the comic book films of 2016!

6: Deadpool: Personally, I enjoyed Deadpool but it felt a bit out-of place and as if they didn't feel comfortable doing what they were doing. Also, the story felt a bit stereo-typical and with very little surprises.
5: X-Men: Apocalypse: Certainly a great film, but a rather lackluster plot that is a twinge middling causes it to fall short of the other comic book films of 2016.
4: Suicide Squad: An amazing film with great visuals and outstanding moments with only a rather disappointing story to hold it back.
3: Doctor Strange: Visually impressive, with a satisfying plot, Doctor Strange is a wholly enjoyable film.
2: Captain America: Civil War: Excellently crafted, masterfully written, and beautifully executed, Captain America: Civil War is, by far, the best Marvel film of all time.
1: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice: Intricately written, looking amazing, and overall a masterfully created film, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn't just mark an outstanding start to the DCEU but also makes its mark as the best comic book film of all time.
