Batman: The Telltale Series is a riveting five part series that is refreshing, new, cohesive, and a beautifully told story that shakes every corner of the Batman canon.

Each of the five episodes are entertaining and hold your interest firmly by the tail. It's a Batman story we've never seen before, with contradicting and shocking details about former, brushed over characters such as Thomas Wayne and Vicki Vale. The choices you make in this Telltale series are some of the most toughest and downright brutal Telltale has ever pulled up its sleeves. Where the downfall is however, is that most, if not all, of the choices you make don't make the impact you'd expect. Another flaw that could be discovered is the consistent frame rate drops and crashes, especially the intros or "last time on" to later episodes (2-5). But overall, it is a great experience. It doesn't do much in terms of gameplay, but as a Batman tale? It quite simply is one of the best, if not THE best, Batman story that you can experience today on any medium. Score: 9.4 out of 10
