Disney's 2017 Movie Preview: Thor: Ragnarok and Star Wars Episode VIII

Today Disney held their 2017 movie preview where they showed off details for their upcoming films including Thor: Ragnarok and Star Wars Episode VIII.

We didn't see much for Star Wars Episode VIII, apart from a logo reveal, which you can take a look at above. But we got the official synopsis and the first behind-the-scenes photo for Thor: Ragnarok. The behind-the-scenes photo is above and the official synopsis is below. The synopsis confirms that it won't just be a team-up movie between Hulk and Thor, but a versus movie! At least for a little bit!

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok — the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization — at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.
