In Washington D.C., everything felt and was fine. Families were happy and content with what they had and very little was left to be desired out of this society. Different and varied cultures were able to live together in harmony and respect. The same could mostly be said about the Junnings, a well-respected family. But now, at a certain time, that respect was dismantled in a spectacular fashion. That is where our story begins. The Junnings in Washington D.C. consisted of three members. The other Junnings in the world lived in other states of the US such as Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. One side of the family even lived all the way over to New Zealand. But the three Junnings in D.C. were happy and content like anyone else in the society. The first member was Steve Junnings, who worked as an accountant. He was considered quiet and lived a simple life. As a result, he was well-respected. His wife, Grace Junnings, the second Junnings, worked as a nurse at the local hospital. The two had a child named Carl Junnings. At the time where our story begins, he was an eight-year-old. Targeted at an early age by bullies, he was mostly pitied by those around him. He was considered rather bookish, and was quiet at that too. While he was annoyed with the constant destruction of his books and angered by the insults they threw at him like stones on the water, he never chose to fight back as he was always told and counseled by his father not to do so.
