Destination Moon may have been a great and amazing experience, but unquestionably the real story arc is Explorers on the Moon. Blending with grace a fascinating plot, suspense, and emotions that are unprecedented in any other Tintin story, that makes for what is unquestionably one of the best Tintin stories in the series.

Explorers on the Moon takes place mere moments after where Destination Moon left off. Our beloved crew of characters are off to the Moon and many obstacles stand in their way. The story this time is just as or if not more immersive than Destination Moon. The environment and art really sucks you in, and the story moves around at a nice pace. There certainly is a heady collection of humor, but it takes a back seat to the actual story itself. There is emotion that I found really surprising to see. Overall, it's quite simply one of my favorite Tintin stories of all time, and is truly amazing. Score: 9.9 out of 10.
