QUICK DISCLAIMER: I understand that I messed up the order of the Tintin books. I will now review The Calculus Affair and the Red Sea Sharks then go to The Castafiore Emerald.

The Calculus Affair is constantly overlooked as being an okay or average Tintin story, but in my personal opinion, it is the BEST Tintin story in the series.
It has such an engrossing and developed plot line, that in the end takes you from a nice and happy tone all the way through suspense and darkness back to the nice and happy tone. I know other stories did that, but none did it in such a way this story did. The art is stellar, and the angles we saw felt right and had the best imagery. It also relies on what you already feel for the characters, which may be considered a negative for some, but for me, it's a plus. It's quite simply the BEST Tintin story I have ever read. Score: 10 out of 10.
